Megan & Bryce's Wedding at Marie Gabrielle
When Meagan came to me with the vision of an elegant, garden wedding in the heart of Dallas, I knew to look no further than Marie Gabrielle. A venue set in a beautiful grove of trees, nestled privately above the city streets in the soft glow of bistro lights.
In planning and designing their wedding, we drew inspiration from French architecture, Marie Antoninette and modern touches to create a twist on the classic Dallas wedding. My mind dreamt of orchids, patterned dishware, acrylic gost chairs and soft candlelight to create this juxtaposed feel that came together in perfect harmony.
The ceremony was timeless - set on the open lawn with a string quartet playing as guests strolled through evergreen landscaping to find their seats. We played with acrylic detail, a full floral arch comprised of specialty blooms, and a clean, neutral color palette with hints of soft blush - put together lovingly by Something Pretty Floral.
Guests were invited to stroll through the gardens after the ceremony, as they were passed champagne and hors d'oeuvres. They were welcomed into the inner garden where tables adorned in overgrown floral arrangements and lit with the glow of pillar candles welcomed them to their seats. Menus were hand calligraphed with guest's names to designate their place setting. As the evening progressed, bistro lighting overhead lit the dance floor where their band, Emerald City, played into the night. Meagan and Bryce walked into their new life together through a tunnel of sparklers, and were whisked away in the classic car of a family friend.
