Our goal is to bring you exciting new content each week, whether that's inspiration for your wedding decor or advice on how to make the perfect seating chart. Sometimes, we like to throw in a few posts that don't relate to the wedding industry at all. It's kind of like a breath of fresh air and a way to put things back into perspective for our readers.

This week's favorite comes to you from outside the wedding industry. Today, we're featuring The Yellow Conference, a company dedicated to bringing together entrepreneurial-minded women for the greater good.

The Yellow Conference happens each year in Los Angeles. It's a three-day conference, providing workshops, breakout sessions, speaker sessions and panels to help women channel their passion and drive into something much, much bigger.

This year's conference hosted speakers like Alexis Jones, founder of ProtectHer, Jedidiah Jenkins, editor of Wilderness Magazine, and Kirsten Dickerson, CEO of Raven + Lily. But don't be sad if you missed out on all of the fun! You can buy all of this year's sessions for only $97.

We're so passionate about weddings. Sometimes so passionate that we turn on our blinders and focus only on the events we have coming up. The Yellow Conference helps to remind us that there's a bigger picture out there, and that our duty is not only to succeed in our own industry, but to empower women in other industries as well.
